CLIMATE CHANGE FACTS

It’s obvious that without our oceans, many species would be suffering, including us! Sadly, climate change is one of the many reasons why our oceans are in danger. Here are 7 facts everyone should know about climate change.

1.

Our planet keeps warming each year. Studies showed that 2016 happened to be the most warmest year of our plant. Each year, we continue to see temperatures going up.

2.

Our oceans are getting hotter. Because the planet continues to warm each year, it takes a toll on our oceans and increases their temperatures. Studies show that our oceans are warmer than they've ever been before.

3.

We're seeing less snow and ice. Hot temperatures mean we'll keep seeing a decrease of cold weather forms, a big horror to animals who depend on these environments to live.

4.

Most of the time, earth can handle extra radiation. It's usually released into space before it's a problem. But with too much greenhouses gases reaching our planet, it begins to cause Earth to over-heat.

5.

Many species are suffering because of the extra over-heating. The new temperatures are causing many animals to lose their homes as their bodies are not adapted to handle these conditions.
